Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of Mycobacteria

The EUCAST AMST develops breakpoints and methods for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of mycobacteria.

Clinical breakpoints for Mycobacteria are part of the regular EUCAST breakpoint table for bacteria.
MIC distributions for Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other Mycobacteria, go to the EUCAST MIC distribution website.

News! The recording from the AMST zoom meeting on "Reference MIC testing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis". On the 9th of October, 2024, from 14.00 - 16.00, CET, the EUCAST subcommittee on Anti-Mycobacterial Susceptibility Testin (AMST), discussed questions and comments raised during the public_consultation (March 1st - April 19th 2024) of the “EUCAST reference protocol for MIC determination of anti-tuberculous agents against isolates of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex”.
