Guidance document on Stenotrophomonas

EUCAST guidance document on susceptibility testing of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia published 1 Feb 2012.

Susceptibility testing of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is difficult. Evaluating which therapy is effective is just as difficult. Determining breakpoints in the face of poorly standardised methodology and few clinical data to support decisions is almost impossible. In this document EUCAST reviews the current litterature on Stenotrophomonas.
